Teaching on the Run
Teaching on the Run (TOTR) is a national program developed by staff of the Education Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Australia. The TOTR program helps improve the quality of the teaching and supervision of trainee doctors and students. With funding support from the Department of Health the PMCV is able to offer a number of TOTR programs during 2013.
An introductory TOTR program for Junior Medical Officers
The TOTR program for junior medical officers comprises three of the six available modules: Clinical teaching; Skills; and Feedback and Assessment .
The dates for 2013 one day programs are:
22 March 2013 - 9.00am-2.30pm
31 May 2013 - 9.00am-2.30pm
A TOTR program for supervisors and educators
The TOTR program for clinicians and educators comprises six modules: Clinical teaching; Skills; Feedback and Assessment; Effective Group Teaching; Supporting Trainees; and Planning Term Learning.
