Education Subcommittee
This Subcommittee has been established to facilitate the objectives of Council in relation to identifying and establishing, in collaboration with its stakeholders (eg hospitals, HMOs), educational structures and programs which enhance the education and training needs of junior medical staff.
The Council, through the Education Subcommittee. has established a grants process, which supports the employment of Medical Education Officers, in both metropolitan and rural hospitals and a range of innovative projects. To view a summary of the projects funded, click here.
A part-time MEO is located within the office of the PMCV to support hospital-based MEOs, to undertake research and assist hospitals who do not have the benefit of MEO support. To view a role description and contact details for the central MEO, click here.
