Centralised Victorian IMG Orientation Program

The PMCV will be introducing an expanded two (2) day program of the “Hitting the Ground Running”: Centralised Victorian IMG Orientation workshop.

This 2-day program will integrate ALL non-hospital/practice specific orientation content as defined in the AMC Orientation Guidelines (2007) and will assist with the initial 3 month reporting requirement to the Medical Board of Australia.

The introduction of a coordinated and centrally delivered IMG orientation program has demonstrated both a practical and integrated approach to implementation of the AMC guidelines and a decrease in duplication of effort by employers across Victoria in relation to IMG Orientation.

Workshops are scheduled for:

• Wednesday 6^th and Thursday 7^th October 2010
• Wednesday 3^rd and Thursday 4^th November 2010
