A Teaching and Learning Resource

comm_and_ethics_coverCommunication and Ethics for International Medical Graduates in Australia is a multi-media resource that has been developed for IMG supervisors and medical educators. The DVD includes three video scenarios of challenging doctor-patient communication scenarios as well as interviews with established IMGs talking about their experiences of working in Australian hospitals.

The scenarios, interviews with IMGs and the IMG stories can be used as triggers to explore language and cultural issues in relation to health care practice in Australia.

The resource has been distributed to Medical Clinical Educators across Victoria.
