Aims: JMOs are represented on the PMCV Workforce Subcommittee and other work groups to advocate for the Victorian JMO Forum Workforce Strategic Issues

There is normally an annual meeting with the HMO Managers (usually April).  The JMO Workforce officers will report on issues before the Workforce Subcommittee to the JMO Forum to subsequently enable input from members back to the Subcommittee.

The Workforce Committee consists of Workforce/HMO Managers, Educators, State Government representatives and junior doctors who meet regularly to discuss workforce issues. These may include but are not limited to issues regarding the Intern/HMO Computer Matching Service, workforce planning in the prevocational years, expansion of training and service in innovative settings, vertical integration of training and JMO welfare and support in the workforce setting. Workforce issues pertinent to junior doctors are discussed regularly at the JMO Forum.
