Meetings and Program
Meetings
Meetings are scheduled from February to November and are held approximately
every 6 weeks.
Meeting procedures
Meetings will be held in accordance with the Council's meeting procedures for
subcommittees.
Chair
The appointment process for the position of Chair, HMO Managers subcommittee
will be in accordance with the Council's approved process.
The role of the Chair is:
- preside over meetings of the HMO Managers subcommittee;
- ensure orderly and proper conduct of HMO Managers subcommittee meetings;
- act as a spokesperson and communicate issues arising from meetings to relevant
council subcommittees/committees;
- represent the PMCV at relevant meetings and events.
The Chair is a member of the PMCV Executive subcommittee.
The current Chair of the HMO Managers subcommittee is Ms Kath Ronan, HMO Manager
at Box Hill Hospital.
Membership
Hospitals have been established as health services. Each health service in Victoria
with junior medical staff is entitled to one representative on the subcommittee,
with a voting entitlement. This person should be identified by the health service.
However, additional representatives may attend and participate in meetings,
but have no voting entitlement.
