SUMMARY:2023 PMCV Symposium - Success in a Constantly Evolving Environment
DESCRIPTION:Join PMCV on Friday the 14th of July for our annual Symposium with this year’s theme being ‘Success in a Constantly Evolving Environment’. \nPMCV will be hosting our annual Symposium on Friday the 14th of July at The Angliss Conference Centre. This year our theme will be ‘Success in a Constantly Evolving Environment’ where we will be discussing the process of implementing positive cultural change in an organisation in lieu of the introduction to the National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training across Australia in 2024.  \nLed by our keynote speaker with an extensive background in competency-based education\, faculty development\, program evaluation\, and curriculum development\, Dr Jason Frank\, clinician-educator from Ottawa\, Canada\, will be discussing international benchmarking and detailing how a growth mindset is the key to success in a constantly evolving environment.  \nJason will join the panel discussion\, ‘Elevating supervisor engagement in a time of transition’\, where he and other local and international experts will delve into new methods and tools to strengthen supervisor engagement. \nPMCV invites you to join us as we showcase the core national modules of the Program for Prevocational Supervision for the first time prior to the official launch. This is an opportunity to see the module structures and narratives firsthand so you can contribute to the final edits.  \nThis event is ideal for DCTs\, SITs\, MEOs and Term Supervisors. We encourage all health services to nominate two Term Supervisors to attend – one that is a National Framework ‘champion’ and one that may be not convinced as yet.  \nPlease note that this event will be fully catered for.  \nRegistrations on the day will start at 9:30 am with the official programming beginning at 10:00 am.  \nA full program for the day can be accessed HERE. \nThis event is almost sold out – please register ASAP or join our waitlist via Eventbrite. \nIf you have any enquiries regarding this event\, please contact us via marketing@pmcv.com.au.
