DESCRIPTION:Increase your First Nations cultural awareness and sensitivity for better healthcare outcomes\nIn collaboration with Emma Leehane (Nangala Aboriginal Cultural Education)\, the PMCV has developed a cultural awareness training module with a focus on First Nations Australian culture and associated healthcare issues and considerations. \nThe training provides cultural awareness education that: \n\nIncludes an overview of the key issues relevant to the development of a culturally safe health service environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.\nLeads to an increase in culturally safe and sensitive practice amongst health care professionals.\n\nRefund Policy:\nRegistration will be refunded for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the event. Registration will not be refunded for cancellations of less than 5 business days (1 week)\, nor for non-attendance. \nFor further information on the FNCA Program\, please email PMCVeducation@pmcv.com.au. \nCancellation and Rescheduling:\nPMCV courses are subject to minimum and maximum group numbers. Courses may be cancelled or postponed if minimum numbers are not achieved by the scheduled date. Courses may close prior to the start date if the maximum numbers are achieved. In both situations\, applicants will be re-scheduled to the next available course. \n1 week notice\, or 5 business days\, will be given in case of course rescheduling or cancellation. \nSessions tailored to your organisation:\nWe also run bespoke education sessions with organisations.
