DESCRIPTION:On Friday the 17th of June 2022\, the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) will be hosting our annual PMCV Symposium – an event that brings together the Victorian medical community. \nThis year our theme will be ‘Emerging Innovations’ and will feature Victorian Health Services discussing their innovations in the fields of Medical Education\, JMO Wellbeing and Prevocational Supervision.  \nPMCV acknowledges that it has been a trying couple of years\, so we wish for the Symposium to highlight Victorian Health Services being agile whilst trying to address the issues that our community has faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.  \nThe full program is now available and can be accessed here: www.pmcv.com.au/2022-Symposium \nPlease note: this event is now SOLD OUT. DESCRIPTION:Make an easy transition into the Australian healthcare system\nPMCV’s Hitting the Ground Running (HTGR): IMG Orientation program supports International Medical Graduate (IMGs) who are planning on or currently working within the Australian healthcare system (Hospital-based and/or General Practice). \nThe modules across both days are: \n\nOrientation to the Australian Healthcare System (17th June 2022)\nLegislation and professional Practice (22nd June 2022)\nAboriginal Cultural Awareness (22nd June 2022)\n\nAt the end of the course\, you will receive evidence of certification and an ORIG-30 mapping checklist. This will ensure that you successfully complete necessary components of your mandatory 3 month orientation reporting requirement (ORIG-30) as per your general registration requirements set by Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
