The Director of Medical Education & Training plays a key role in the accreditation of training positions at Barwon Health and medical registration requirements, and promotes the engagement of medical staff in learning, supervision and teaching as appropriate to their career stage.

Location: SERH is a one-hour flight from Melbourne or Sydney to Merimbula and a 25 minute drive to SERH. It is 120 minutes to the ski fields of Thredbo and the Perisher Valley, 25 minutes to the far south coast, and 60 minutes to the Great Dividing Range and the Monaro plains. Canberra is three hours by car.

On-site specialists are supported by a regular and enthusiastic group of visiting experts from Canberra and Sydney teaching hospitals. SERH has dedicated medical, surgical, maternity and SARU units, all of which are busy and staffed by great nursing teams.
