The Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria Inc. administers the Advanced Trainee Selection and Matching (ATSM) service on behalf of the Victorian Psychiatry Training Committee (VPTC) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

Candidates for this Match must already have submitted an Application to Commence Training to the Victorian Psychiatry Training Committee.

This match is for first year training commencing in 2023.

Eligibility criteria

Eligibility Group 1

Australian or New Zealand trained medical graduate, or international medical graduate, holding general medical registration in Australia

Eligibility Group 2

Australian or New Zealand Trained medical graduate who is a current intern with provisional registration, and who will be eligible for general medical registration by 6 February 2023

Eligibility Group 3

International Medical Graduate who will have completed AMC National Competent Authority and be eligible for General Registration by 6 February 2023

Eligibility Group 4

International medical graduate who has Medical registration that has ‘Restricted to practice in Psychiatry’ condition disclosed
