PMCV will administer the Basic Physician Training Year 2 & 3 (BPT 2&3) Match on behalf of the Victorian Department of Health.

The following candidates are not eligible to apply for BPT2&3 positions in the PMCV Match:
- All candidates who do not satisfy any of the eligibility criteria outlined above.
- Candidate who has received and accepted a pre-match offer at a Victorian Health Service.
- International Medical Graduates who do not have General Registration with AHPRA.
To be eligible for RACP BPT2 you must:
- Have current general medical registration in Australia or New Zealand
- Have satisfactorily completed at least one intern year (PGY1+)
- Be minimum PGY 3
To be eligible for RACP BPT3 you must:
- Have current general medical registration in Australia or New Zealand
- Have satisfactorily completed at least one intern year (PGY1+)
- Be minimum PGY 4
