You will have the opportunity to hear from a range of presenters, including representatives from the VBPTC, RCH, MCH, Directors of Paediatric Education (DPE) and current paediatric trainees. An overview of the training program will be provided, including details about the Extended Rural Stream (ERS) positions that allow trainees to spend at least half of their training time in a rural or regional area.
In addition to providing training information, RCH & MCH representatives will also provide recruitment and employment related information for the respective levels of paediatric training program entry:
Junior Resident Medical Officer (RCH)
Senior Resident Medical Officer (MCH)
Registrar (RCH)
Please note, this Information Night is also relevant for interstate trainees who may already be in the RACP training program but wish to relocate to Victoria. Those trainees must also apply to enter the Victorian training program via the same avenue as those applicants not yet in the training program.
