Increase your First Nations cultural awareness and sensitivity for better healthcare outcomes

In collaboration with Emma Leehane (Nangala Aboriginal Cultural Education), the PMCV has developed a cultural awareness training module with a focus on First Nations Australian culture and associated healthcare issues and considerations.

The training provides cultural awareness education that:

  1. Includes an overview of the key issues relevant to the development of a culturally safe health service environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  2. Leads to an increase in culturally safe and sensitive practice amongst health care professionals.

Refund Policy:

Registration will be refunded for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the event. Registration will not be refunded for cancellations of less than 5 business days (1 week), nor for non-attendance.

For further information on the FNCA Program, please email PMCVeducation@pmcv.com.au.

PMCV courses are subject to minimum and maximum group numbers. Courses may be cancelled or postponed if minimum numbers are not achieved by the scheduled date.
