The Late Vacancy Match (LVM) is a process undertaken by PMCV to assist health services to fill vacancy and for candidates yet to have a position for the 2026 clinical year.
Only candidates with current registration with AHPRA are eligible to apply to this match.
International Medical Graduates without current AHPRA registration will not be eligible to apply to this process.
This process is not open to doctors who have been reported to PMCV as having accepted a Pre-Match Offer in a Victorian health service for the 2026 clinical year or candidates who participated in any Match process coordinated by the PMCV in 2025, who were already allocated to a position via that process.

To be eligible for the Late Vacancy Management you must:
Have Current registration with AHPRA
- Current general medical registration in Australia
- Current provisional medical registration in Australia
- Current limited medical registration in Australia
Ineligible Candidates
- International Medical Graduate eligible for registration with AHPRA
- All candidates who do not satisfy any of the eligibility criteria outlined above.
- Candidate who has received an offer through the PMCV match.
